We left a great review a few months ago but the managers have changed. Now it's a food overload now and not tasty at all. Before the food was wonderful and the service was excellent now you wait for over 50 mins for a plate of overflowing food. It's very off putting. Please go back to what you were doing... More

We been to The Penny Farthing so many times in the last 15 years and seen highs and lows in the extreme. Unaware that is has changed hands again, we visited recently and sadly must withdraw our high praise offered before. We were met and greeted well enough, but felt something was lacking. Pleasant enough staff, average menu (please get... More

Staff were all very pleasant and the food was good. However, we were told there may be a delay on the food but we did not expect to wait for 45 mins! The portions were just too large resulting in a huge amount of wasted food.

We popped in to the Penny Farthing today after many years absence as we had heard that Helen and her team had taken over. It turned out to be only the second day of opening under their management but we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted and served by Scarlette while Helen prepared our lunches. My husband had chargrilled... More

We went to the Penny Farthing for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. The pub itself had a great atmosphere with a warm, country yet contemporary feel. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was amazing!! Excellent quality, freshly prepared using local produce and very tasty. The portions were good and the food was served piping hot and... More

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was let down. The restaurant and bar were very quiet which should have been a warning sign. The atmosphere was awful, all staff need some sort of customer service training. Waitress was very cold and slow, and it wasn't like there were hundreds of people there! Very disappointing, food wasn't great... More

We are located in the beautiful small village of Aston Crews, offering a freshly cooked seasonal menu filled with local ingredients. The Penny has some exceptional views of the Black Mountains and the Malvern hills from the beer garden (with children's play area).

We aim to showcase the exceptional local produce and serve local ales and spirits as well as keeping as much of ingredients as local as possible. We also have a large selection of whisky from all over the world.
