The first place I have been to where 'everything' on the specials menu would have been something i would eat! Opted for the Seafood Platter, fantastic fayre, but be warned, it says for 1-3 folk, I would say 3-4 minimum. Oustanding quality and selection. The service, staff and ambience of this place is superb and well worth paying a visit.

Called in for a quick spot of lunch. Lovely atmosphere and immediately made welcome. Straight forward traditional pub lunch menu. Settled for the brie, cranberry and bacon baguette. Freshly prepared and brought out in a few minutes. Very tasty and seemed really good quality bacon and brie. Served by such a friendly lady. Couldn't fault anything and will definitely call... More

We found this pub which is right at the end of town. It is a small friendly pub serving lovely home made food. We had both lunch and dinner here and could not fault the food at all. Portions are very good

Ate here on Friday night and went back just for pre-dinner drinks on Saturday, both times were met with nothing but ultra friendly service and smiles. The food is fairly plain typical pub fare but that's just what we wanted. Fish was very fresh and lovely, steak also good quality, huge chips were too chunky to finish but tasted nice.... More

Ate here with friends on a busy Friday night and was looked after really well. Great staff, great food and a nice atmosphere. The Thai curry on the specials board was spot on. Thanks to all.

We ate here twice on our 3 night stay nearby. The welcome was amazing - the lady serving was so very friendly and helpful. The food was great - the black bream delicious with a huge bowl of salad. and a nice salad too - with grapes - not just the usual collection of leaves. Be warned though - if... More

Proper good old fashion pub grub with great service. Very rare find! Not the usual microwaved food you'll find elsewhere.

Description
We are a traditional, local family-run pub in the idyllic countryside of Herefordshire. Over looking stunning views of the Wye Valley, the Man of Ross is the ideal place to go for a drink or delicious home cooked food. We have a vast drinks collection of local ciders and ales, lagers, wines, soft drinks and freshly brewed coffee. All of our food is as locally sourced as possible and home cooked to order. Our lunchtime menu offers light bites such as sandwiches and baguettes to homemade pub classics. The Chef specialises in fresh seafood dishes which vary weekly depending on what fresh fish is available. Also, locally sourced Hereford steaks are served daily such as a 16oz T-Bone and our 'Trio of Steaks'. Sunday Roast is served every week using only local meat and produce. Pop in to have a pleasant experience and warm by our cosy wood burner or relax outside in the sun admiring views of the River Wye during the summer season.
