Come on trip advisor 6th best in Lytham St annes ! Firstly it is not a restaurant its a cafe and a fairly basic one to look at. But the food is excellent especially the delicious home made soups. If you question this - go there at 12.15pm any day and try and get a seat upstairs or downstairs -... More

Excellent service and out of the ordinary food (try the fish casserole) make this a great lunchtime stop. Some tables can be a bit cramped. Cheerful and friendly service.

Very busy upon arrival, even at 11:45 , which tends to be a good sign obviously popular. Cafe seemed modern and fresh (very promising still) Was seated downstairs on a somewhat sticky table with plastic menus , oh dear. It's not that expensive to provide a more upmarket means to showcase yourself, just gives a feel of being in a... More

I don't do many reviews but feel I have to on this occasion. We passed last week and noticed the place was buzzing on a Thursday lunchtime, we fancied a coffee as it was quite windy. On reading the menu we were tempted to order a panini cheese with ham and a beef sandwich on healthy bread without the horse... More

This bustling cafe filled with happy regulars and Lytham-day-trippers alike clearly does not need favourable reviews on TripAdvisor to keep it in business, but I would like to just commend the complete friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who were smiling and unfazed even on a hectic Saturday morning, as well as the delicious food (the latte was frothy and... Unpretentious and friendly licensed cafe. Great value food from sandwiches (lovely bread) made to order to cooked meals - how about a 8oz rib steak of 40day dry aged beef with salad and potatoes for under a tenner? Fresh fish dishes change daily. Toasted tea cakes are huge. And if you are after comfort food then for £3.50(ish) you can... More

Decided to call in today after reading reviews. Homemade wild mushroom soup and thyme delicious with a chunk of granary bread. Pannie nice but hubby wished had ordered a larger meal. Quality of food above average for the tea room. Will definitely try something else on the menu next time in Lytham.

Helpful staff (even in the face of a difficult order....can we swap this for that etc.), plenty of choice, good quality well cooked breakfast, great drinks and good value for money! (I will even overlook that the plumb tomatoes were missed from my breakfast....I would not have managed them anyways!) Thank you!
