I've eaten here many times going back 50 years when I used to live in the village. The quality of the offerings today is as good as its ever been. I keep going back so can't be bad! Food - Not just your 'Pub classics' but a few exciting items for a foodie (Ok, not french haute cuisine but enough... More

We went for a long walk and then went for a meal at this pub. It was lovely the landlady served us and was very attentive. The food was hot tasty and not overpriced. The pub is very old and interesting inside.

A really friendly pub with great food. There is something for every one on the menu. Beer selection is good with local brews as we at national brands. Lovely old world pub. We will be back real soon.

We first visited the Red Lion when we moved to Lymington in the early 1980's. It is still good today as it was then.

I had the roast beef which was really very nice, apart from a bit of a wait for the veg to come, not sure if the chef or wAitress forgot it, but nice when it did arrive. All in all very good staff pleasant and attentive, food nice apparently pies were exceptional! would... More
