Beer was fine and the bar staff chatty also very polite. There the story ends, the table was so sticky the place mats were virtually glued to the table. The lunch time food was terrible, end of story. First and last visit.

Sorry but worst pub food I've had in a long time plus too much LOUD music. One to avoid we had been led to believe that, it was good fare but overcooked and didn't seem home cooked as advertised. No choice where we sat as we had a well behaved dog with us - cancelled next reservation as won't go... More

We have been here on many occasions and never been disappointed! The food is always good, cooked to order and nicely presented. The ale is good as well! We shall return here quite regularly, but probably not in the height of the holiday season.

She also found the tuna mayo had a peculiar taste for the mayo. Others may be happy with the place & it may suit them;... More

Lovely pub. Great food lovely and hot. Friendly and welcoming staff and owners. Dogs welcome inside. Great ales. My husband enjoyed the one the owner recommended. Wish this was my local.

A lovely pub in the most perfect location imaginable. The choice of real ales on offer is truly outstanding, but watch the potency of some of em!!. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food choice is excellent and great value. The perfect place for a pint whilst relaxing after a day out in the local area. Entertainment on a regular... More
