Went here for an evening meal with 2 friends, food not bad and reasonable price. The pub is in need of a complete refurbishment, it's a lovely old building but is desperate for a facelift. Staff were pleasant and service was good.

had lunch today, excellent food and service - we both had the meat pie with mustard mash and fresh beans and carrots - the pastry was crisp and the filling was just full of meat - £10.95 - and the gravy was delicious. Lovely old pub, warming and welcoming atmosphere - open fire which was nice on a cool day... More

We were celebrating my step daughter's Birthday and from the moment we walked into the Plume of Feathers until the time we all left, the service, staff and the food was great. There were 7 of us and we all had various meals. A few of us had the 'black' rock grill, basically a piece of lava rock where you... More

I knew of the Plume of Feathers because my mum used to work there but had never visited. Me and my gf went there last year and ordered Lava Rock Fillet Steak, that was an interesting experience. Really enjoyed it and what a way to try my first fillet. Lovely little place, good service and amazing food.

We have been to this pub many times. We've always had a good meal. Friendly staff. Wine and beers a bit pricey.

The food is pretty fair pub grub. Good portions, good size and plenty of variety. The only issue I have is the relative inaccessibility of the pub. Both entrances have some steps to cope with, the front having the least. Coming in from the car park is a bit of a challenge, there are steps form to the entrance door,... More

It's a nice pub with a fire. Food is OK but was just a little disappointed as my chicken and bacon club sandwich was so dry, had to dip it in mayo to enjoy it. I know this is down to preference and some might like it like that but too dry for me, especially with all that bread and... More

I was recommended to this establishment. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we received. The food was average. The mash was not too good. I had lamb shank and mash,I had this in wetherspoons in tower bridge and it was great there. A bit disappointed.

We went with family who had very young children, unfortunately although our order was taken very quickly the food took almost an hour to arrive and when it did the Yorkshire Puddings were badly burnt. We considered the food to only be of average quality but greatly over price. We enjoy visiting this pub in the summer as the have... More
