I had Olives In this ( Restaurant ???) Cafe ;-) They Taste Like RUBBER ??? They plunge green olives into open tanks of caustic soda and agitate the mixture continuously for a week to 10 days, until they become a dark but not very lovely black. Then they wash the soda off and treat them with ferrous gluconate to fix... More

If you didn't know about this place you wouldn't realise it was there. Menu of good fresh food at reasonable prices including some nice fish dishes. If you have a main meal you get lovely olives and warm bread free like you do when on holiday in Portugal. It is quite quirky in that there is a shop selling unusual... More

Extraordinary food, in lovely surroundings. Everything cooked to order, fresh and delicious. Portuguese wine, bread and desserts. My steak was just mmmmm but everything else looked good too.

I recently went here with my boss whilst on a 'day out'. I chose the Quayside Plaza on a whim, in part due to its rating on Trip Adviser, and with my fussy director in two was a little concerned as to what I might find in Great Yarmouth! To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement .... More

Visited here for lunch during a business trip and it was absolutely lovely. I had the soup and Portuguese Steak, both great. Thoroughly recommend for anyone visiting Great Yarmouth.

This is a super little restaurant on Great Yarmouth's magnificent quayside that serves a wide range of delightful cakes and coffees. The cakes are fresh and highly recommended. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The Quayside Plaza also offers lunch and seemed a popular choice for diners. In addition there is the excellent Ferailles emporium full of eclectic... More

So the restaurant is in the front and the shop is in the back. The feel is somewhat like a cafe, but the food is of a much higher standard. I had the bream and that was excellent, both in taste and value.

Great food, friendly staff and excellent service. I believe this place can and should charge more for their food. It was an excellent lunch date. If we are in Great Yarmouth again we will be back.

I was taken here for a mothers day breakfast, it was fabulous. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being too much. Olives and warm bread seem to be a standard greeting and the breakfast menu was excellent ranging from full English to kippers, juices and smoothies to teas and coffees plus much more. We had plenty of room... More
