Great pies all with chips and optional mushy peas and gravy. Great selection of whiskies and Robbie is very funny. Well recommended.

This is the first restaurant where the owner overshadows the food! He is quite a character as he makes his way around the dining room swearing like a sailor and yelling at people out the windows. However, don't let that keep you away. The meat...More

A dining experience recommended by locals that lived up to its billing. Decent quallity (pieminister) pies with chips and other accompaniments available. The bar and waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. Drinks to accompany a little limited in range but all we tried were...More

Top spot for an evening in this small town. The pies are very good and the selection of Whisky is great. The prices are moderate. Would come back again ;)

Robbie was on the bar & the humour was non stop (brilliant), decor is military and interesting, didn't actually eat but see more than ample pie n chips come out you would not leave hungry, myself & wife will definitely go back

Does what it says on the tin! Wee pub that serves pies and chips and that’s it. Can be lively and busy with a rather opinionated and chatty landlord. Take it as you find it. Not a bad wee place.

My fiance and I recently visited this lovely little bar on a blustery evening before Easter. It was slow night but a few locals wandered in and chatted us up as we ate our dinner. We each had a Pie and Chips which we're delightful....More

This bar/restaurant haz a lovely feel about it. There is a small bar with an open fire. Speciality food..pies. A variety of pies to choose from including vegetarian fillings. The supplier provides the uncooked pies and the bar cook them. We were told exactly how long we would need to wait before we could eaf right from the start. All pies served with chips anx and cost about £7.25ish. Beans and gravy cost extra. Tbe pies are to die for.
