Cosy and warm venue with amusing barman called Robbie who adds much character. It serves a range of excellent pies with names like "Moo & Blue" or "Kate and Sidney" (describing the fillings) available with chips and mushy peas. Great with a pint from their local range of ales.

This bar is full of character, especially Robbie..... he is one of the funniest guys I've met in a long time, although he does have an alternative sense of humor, which certainly appealed to me! The food was really good, they only sell pie and chips but there are about 10 different pies to choose from and I'm sure they... More

Don't let the old fashioned tableware put you off! The Pieminister pies are delicious and the service was very friendly and welcoming. I don't think they offer dessert which was a shame for someone with a sweet tooth like me but the portions are very generous so you won't leave hungry!

We had such a fun and delicious time at Craig Bar the first time that we ate there AGAIN the next night. Pies & chips and pies & chips only! There were delicious vegetarian options (I had the Heidi and the Palak Pie-neer), and Robbie is a fun owner/bartender who helped us find whiskeys we loved to taste! There is... More

This was a great little pub with a nice selection of savory pies for dinner and good selection of beers and whisky's. As an American, we can be kind of spoiled by places that serve food late and were a little thrown off at how few restaurants across Scotland do that. Owner is very understanding of this and she will... More

This is pub is a little bit different than a normal Scottish pub, the food selection is pies, no desert no burgers and no music. What you do get is a selection of very good pies, good whiskies and entertaining hosts and all for very reasonable price.

Description
This bar/restaurant haz a lovely feel about it. There is a small bar with an open fire. Speciality food..pies. A variety of pies to choose from including vegetarian fillings. The supplier provides the uncooked pies and the bar cook them. We were told exactly how long we would need to wait before we could eaf right from the start. All pies served with chips anx and cost about £7.25ish. Beans and gravy cost extra. Tbe pies are to die for.
