We walked past on our way up the high street and immediately noticed the rosemary and sea salt focaccia. We purchased some on our way back and took it home. It was absolutely divine. The kids loved their Billionaires shortcake, white chocolate instead of milk! And the overnight tin loaf was perfect for toast! An old school bakery with amazing... More

This shop was almost opposite our hotel and althought I had just had a very good breakfast I could not resist their cheese scones in the window they are delicious. The window display will get you every time.

Popped in for a steak pasty to share, medium size was ample although they do larger versions and offer other fillings. Has other hot food on offer but when the town is busy I suspect they are liable to sell out of things. Has a small seating area if you wish to stop and have a drink as well or... More

The chocolate muffins in the shop window caught our attention but once inside, the almond slice, cheese pastries and delicious bread just had to leave with us. Shame it was closed on Sunday afterwise would have purchased more

Absolutely mouthwatering smells abound as you walk in too this lovely quaint bakery, everything from scones to bread pudding. Tin loafs to Walut Boules, and not forgetting the much loved monkey muffin. I have never been disappointed with any of the bread or cakes purchased here.

A cheerful welcome and a dazzling range of artisan breads. Their muffins are so yummy and were perfect for a pudding at our hog roast celebration last year. Their sourdough is excellent, as good as my husband's but keeps better.

Fabulous freshly baked loaves and an impressive array of old fashioned, traditional cakes daily. Saffron buns very popular too and if you can't find it, just sniff the air and follow your nose!
