The food in this cafe is just amazing. The friendly staff add to the experience. You won't be disappointed. Beware it can be busy so go early to avoid the lunchtime rush. It's a pity it didn't open late!

My favourite café. So clean, great staff. My only fault is it can be busy and hard to get a seat. I often get takeaway. The sugar free loaf is the nicest bread I ever had, All the salads are so good and as for the cakes ! :)

The Jolly Sandwich is a pleasure to visit, the food is all freshly prepared and the staff are so friendly. Breakfast at The Jolly Sandwich is the best with the porridge a special treat presented like you would see in a 5 Star Hotel. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed !!

Unfortunately we only visit this fantastic coffee shop once a year, a stop before onward journey to Connemara. We have been stopping off for a number of years and are always made very welcome by Hazel and her lovely hard working staff. The food is delicious and such an amazing choice. There is a large car park a short stroll... More

So glad I saw The Jolly Sandwich on Tripadvisor and knew where to head to for lunch. There was such an endless choice of food on display that we found it hard to decide what to have. The Cafe was busy but as everything is so well organised we hadn't long to wait. Everyone's very helpful and we really enjoyed... More

We happened across this gem of a cafe by accident.... Quite literally! and all I can say is a massive thank you to Hazel who looked after us so well with coffees on the house plus sent us home with beautiful brown bread. We had beautiful vegetable soup and home made bread, followed by a delish rhubarb tart and lovely... More

Award winning bistro is the best place for a coffee or one of their delicious salads or mouth watering cakes. A lovely experience and served with a smile.

Based on other reviews we (husband and 2 kids (aged 2 & 6)) stopped here for lunch on our way to Sligo from Belfast International airport. Added bonus was that as we drove by the cafe we managed to get parked on the street right outside it for free. The cafe offers an excellent selection of food. It is not... More
