This was not our first visit to the Estate Grill, but the first time for the friends who came with us. The staff were very attentive, the food was fabulous and the setting is amazing. We look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful setting and beautiful Christmas food. Service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. My colleague has food allergies which makes eating out tricky but not here - everything could be adapted or had a delicious alternative.

Well, what a lovely experience. Great Fosters is absolutely stunning anyway. Loved entering through the undersized main entrance (hobbit door). The tables are far enough apart so that you don’t feel like you are dining with your neighbours on the next table or privy to...More

Booked here for an anniversary lunch with my Mother in Law and son, and was not disappointed. The venue has great ambience, and the Estate Grill was a lovely room. The roast beef was well cooked, and the pork crackling was perfect. The desserts were...More

Food was outstanding here for a Sunday lunchtime. We went a la carte and had the Chateaubriand for 2. Delicious. Starters were terrific too. The Sunday lunches looked good as they went past our table, so we;ll try them next time!

Description
The Estate Grill is our contemporary restaurant, which is a reflection of our commitment to providing locally sourced, simple dishes. Executive Chef, Marc Hardiman, has a straightforward and honest approach to food and enjoys experiencing new dining concepts, both in Europe and the UK. With this in mind, along with the current trend for dining to become more relaxed and casual, he has created an innovative menu of smaller plates, allowing guests to order a variety of dishes brought to the table to eat informally, in an almost "grazing" style. Choose as few or as many as you like and they'll be served by both restaurant staff and even one of our chefs. The menu still offers more classic dishes too, mainly cooked on our Josper grill, so if you fancy a traditional main course then the choice is yours! The aim is to offer our diners a more flexible approach to eating out whilst still using the finest ingredients, many of which are grown on our estate and freshly picked each day. Our extensive kitchen garden and glasshouse supply us with a variety of seasonal herbs, fruits, salad leaves and vegetables.
