I visited most recently with a group of friends for coffee and lovely fresh toasted teacakes. There was the usual welcome from the staff and we were served very quickly, within minutes in fact. I also visit regularly with a friend for lunch, although we tend to go for lunch from the menu and have not tried the Ladies Lunch... More

Cant rate highly enough! We were attended to very quickly and served toast and coffee within minutes. Breakfast arrived shortly afterwards (5 Full English and a Haddock and poached egg). Exemplary service, attentive and very friendly. Certain to go back here on our next long ride.

We were seated, eating hot buttered toast and drinking coffee in minutes. Full English breakfast arrived shortly afterwards. Very fair pricing and exemplary service, attentive and friendly. Certain to go back here!

Its not gourmet, or amazing food and there is no choice, but the food is good and the welcome even better,... More

Old fashioned tea room but excellent service from local ladies waiting on table. Good food at reasonable prices. Cocktails and carols in the proprietor's home beforehand.

This small tea room is absolutely brimming with character and surpasses your expectations with the quality of the food produced. The two mature waitresses are excellent and one's coffee cup is never allowed to become empty before it is filled again. The full English breakfast is well cooked and presented with ample supplies of fresh toast accompanied by home made... More

Called here for a quick light lunch as this place was recommended. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman server on arrival, who was very friendly, attentive and really good with customers .Tastefully decorated “ornamental style” tea rooms. First of all we ordered cappuccino & pot of tea . Great selection of tempting dishes and snacks on menu but we... More
