Three of us went for Sunday Lunch and enjoyed it. The restaurant was busy, but had a good atmosphere. The 4 course menu at £26.95 was varied and apart from the parsnip and orange soup which seemed like a poor white sauce with orange zest...More

Not often we score three out of three, three courses all realy well presented and tasty. We ate in the hotel on local recommendation which proved accurate. A good meal, with friendly service.

I find it difficult to fault this restaurant. Every time I have been the food has been well presented (two rosettes) tasty and hot. The staff all pleasant and efficient. Another service well presented, thank you.

very good service and excellent food, will certainly eat here again. The lobster was excellent coupled with the views from the window an evening to remember.

Ate here as a party of 15 to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary on the evening of Saturday 16th September 2017. I have been an occasional visitor to the Lord Bute for some 15 to 20 years and have yet to have a bad meal....More

In some ways you'd say there isn't much wrong, but clearly they're playing to demand, and the population in Bournemouth and the area is old ! So, old music, old people, and silver service, which personally I hate. I can't argue with the business case...More

We dined here with friends on a Saturday evening at 7pm. We were well looked after with unhurried service and left at about 10.15pm after an excellent meal. It was our first visit but our friends attend this venue regularly. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean...More

Good evening. The bands play throughout the evening (with odd breaks), however it is always possible for us to set you a table away from the music if this is your preference. Just mention this at the point of booking.
