Unfortunately first impressions count and from the point of making the booking my expectations were low as the person taking the call was clearly not happy I was bringing a large group. The food was nice but the customer service continued to be poor when...More

Enjoyed a great pint in front of a roaring log fire. Just what you want after a cold walk! Friendly locals giving advice on other places to visit.

A lovely restaurant with great food. The staff were busy because of its popularity but found time to be friendly and welcoming. We all went for haggis in whiskey sauce...fabulous!

A welcoming, cosy pub. Dog-friendly with a reasonable menu of hearty grub! We visited at lunchtime during the week, (arguably) off-season and, despite the best efforts of the very attentive waitress (who was rushed off her feet, poor thing!), the fact that the customer to...More

Had a lovely dinner here whilst staying overnight at Roman Camp Hotel in Callander, very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The food was fresh and very tasty, particularly enjoyed the chicken stuffed with haggis. Would have loved dessert too but couldn’t find room!
