The food was nice enough and staff were friendly Very strange layout of the deli, almost a museum. If you're looking for a quaint and unique cafe, this is the one Didn't try lunch but for afternoon tea, it was fine

We were looking for somewhere to lunch on a cold Sunday and decided to give this place a try. I'm very glad we did. It was very busy, always a good sign, with tables marked Reserved. Order at the counter and the foods brought to you. My wife who is very particular about coffee said the decaff she had was... More

A very popular restuarant . Yummy menu to choose from. Love mouth watering baked potato with smoked salmon & goats cheese. Porridge just like my grans. Soup scrumptious. Breakfast will fuel you all day. Coffee good tasty treats too. Service superb. Even has a ray of deli to take away for everyone's palette. 😆

We love this deli. It is homely, cosy and reminiscent of a nicer time gone by. The food is great with an ever changing choice of hearty home made soups and bakes included. It is well worth waiting for a seat on a busy day. The staff are really friendly with young people being well trained by the owners. There... More

What is there not to like about this place? A HUGE bowl of freshly made lentil soup with bread, a cheese and pickle baguette with a side salad and a large cup of coffee for under £10 to me is a bargain, and free papers were available to read while waiting for the food to arrive. The food was very... More

Unfortunately scrambled eggs were microwaved rubbery tasteless & orange coloured (very weird). Totally inedible. Even the brown toast was limp & tasteless. Shame cos I used to like going here & none of the staff cared that we weren't happy. I've given 2 stars because the coffee was good.

Tucked away just off the main street in a building which was formerly a church hall, this cozy cafe is a delight! I have visited here many times, after enjoying outdoor activities in the area. Julie is a cheerful, welcoming host. Many food options, including veggie options, from full meals to home baking There's always an excellent and interesting choice... More
