Nice pub, ok menu and ok garden. Family friendly. We had the Camembert which was really tasty. They allow dogs in the garden, not sure about inside as it was a sunny afternoon so we stayed outside. Enjoyable afternoon spent here.
Friendly staff, lovely sunny gardens. Food ok reasonably priced. Ideal place to visit if your camping but not if you want something special.
If you ever want a more perfect steak then go to the Snake catcher. It's brought out on a very hot slab of ...I think volcanic rock ....where the meat is raw and you literally cook it yourself to your required taste at your table....More
Good choice of Ale and a very nice bottle of wine. We chose from the Specials board and it was very nice; maybe a bit more Restaurant than Pub food
Ordered the 'Steak at the Snake' which I was told entailed me cooking my own steak. Sounds great as a concept, but not when staff bring your sides and vegetables as you are trying to cook the steak. You don't see chef cooking the sides...More
