Visited this small Garden Centre primarily for a family lunch get-together. Good menu, food and service and the restaurant was licensed. Be warned though that you need to wear warm clothing because the whole building was very cold. After our meal we escaped to the greenhouses (where staff were busily potting up seedlings) to warm up a little. We hurried... More

We often think about this restaurant as our home from home a beautiful atmosphere, great staff that consider you more as a friend than a customer. The food is always great fresh and nothing is to much trouble. Thank you everyone.

This is the second visit to this restaurant, excellent food and the staff are very helpful. It is situated in a garden centre so once you have finished your meal there is a splendid shop to browse around.

We thought we'd give the Harriers a try as we have heard good reports from friends. We weren't disappointed. The food was good and service in the restaurant was very friendly and efficient as was the service in the garden centre. We will be back for a cream tea in the spring.

We have visited several times over the last few years whilst on holiday in the area. The food isn't too bad, the prices are about on par with other places but the last couple of times we have been some of the staff have made it quite clear that they are doing you a favour by serving you. Also if... More

Nice staff, but my meal was like a school dinner.. The fagots were barely cooked in the gravy & so as dry as a bone, the chips were uncooked in the middle served with tinned sliced carrots & peas.. The serving was stingy too. To be fair my wife mentioned to the staff that my meal was very poor &... More

My elderly Mother and I were staying in the area over Christmas and were not sure what to do Christmas Eve, so we headed toward Bideford, but saw the sign for the Merry Harriers and decided to go take a look. We found it to be a lovely garden centre with reasonably priced items for sale. There was also a... More

I took my 3 yr old granddaughter, two grown up daughters and friends with their 11 mth old daughter to merry harriers to have breakfast with Santa. What a brilliant idea and well organised. We were greeted by a welcoming, friendly member of staff and shown to our table. The waitress took our drinks order. Our food order was then... More
