Can't comment on the accommodation as did not stay but I popped in to have lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic too, and there was an option to have a smaller portion so for once I could actually finish...More

Did not look like much to go on from the outside. Step inside and there is a small sign that says food. The corridor gives nothing away. Step through the "food" door, and surprise, surprise, a really cosy spacious restaurant, with a blazing fire! Very...More

What a little gem . The overnight stay was lovely . Bedroom very well laid out , clean nicely decorated. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely , good sized plates. I would have liked more seafood but that's personal choice. Reasonably priced . Breakfast lovely...More

Excellent burgers that had the addition of black haggis, yummy. The rustic chips were very tasty too. Followed by sticky toffee pudding and icecream, also delicious.

We have visited a few times recently after walking our dogs locally. Great place to have lunch in the cosy lounge with our dogs lying at our feet. Even better when the stove is fired up.

Stopped here for lunch before walking round muir of Dinnet nature reserve. Enjoyed it so much we came back for our evening meal and stayed the night. I liked the contemporary decor which still complemented this 18th century building. Very relaxed atmosphere, roaring log fire,...More

It remains a lovely pub, but the service can be poor. All staff (actually, all but one) are friendly, but just not very attentive. It’s a countryside pub so I’m very ok to wait a bit for food, but our table (and the one next...More
