Read the trip advisor reviews and chose as a result to purchase our fish and chips.... Best in town.. from Marlboro restaurant ... Firstly, I love fish and chips! Service? Very decent... My thoughts on the haddock? ... pretty good..! The chips? Rank!! Terrible, poor, crap... add the essential vinegar and they turned to mush/soft/soggy ... My fish supper ain't... More

Enjoyed a great sit down fish and chip meal at the Marlboro. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The service was very good and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Our favourite place in Weymouth for fish and chips. Only had plates of chips on this visit as we didn't want to spoil our tea. They were delicious as usual. They also provided us with a bowl of scraps - grandkids (4 and 7) are now converts and we had to fight over them.

We visited marlborough on an Easter weekend break. Food was faultless as usual never fail to impress. Cod chips and amazing curry sauce. Shame about some customers who had quite obviously been drinking and were rather loud and rude not ideal for a family teatime. Felt sorry for the waitresses who obviously felt quite uncomfortable with their behaviour. Please don't... More

I have been eating fish and chips in the Marlborough for more years than I care to remember lol It is very popular and the fish and chips are superb! The only down side is you cannot always get a table.

These are without doubt the best fish and chips I have had. Bit more expensive than other places but well worth the extra 👍

I know it's highly rated but it is basically a chippy, and being on the coast and in a place with a large fishing fleet you would expect that one of the highest rated restaurants on Tripadvisor would not just be about fried stuff... That said it is good at it so if that is what you like I recommend... More

... because I try to sample fish and chips wherever I go. I used to come here years ago when my children were little and they used to like to eat their fish and chips whilst sitting on the harbour wall and watching the boats. They are 37 and 32 now and for the first time in years I was... More

I can only comment on what I had....and without doubt I had curry sauce and chips and they were some of the best I have ever had. The curry sauce was nice and thick and full of flavour. The service was friendly and the price was well worth it. Go again......you bet I would!
