Better than the average choice in vegetarian options. Very tasty pie which was actually tasty and spicy which generally seems lacking with vegetarian meals. The only thing which was slightly misleading was the meals on their website was completely different to the meals on the menu when we got there. If the menu changes inside it might help to update... Just popped in today and had the most lovely lunch. Love this place tbh mostly in the summer due to the views and garden Seaview but snuggled up inside today and had a most delicious, well presented, Tastey lunch. Great varied menu, super service and chilled ambience. Totally recommend.!

Following last year’s re-launch, the evening menu is established now with a good range of dishes, many quite inexpensive – it’s the sort of well-balanced enticing menu you look at and think yes, I’d be very happy with any of the choices. Our starters of fillet of mackerel were wonderfully tasty. The hake with risotto was delicious, although arguably there... More

And what a great makeover in comfort and service from the last tenants who had no idea of running a pub, years ago it was great. Now friendly service again, large dining area and the menu looks great and not too expensive with an excellent experienced chef.Only stopped for pint after work in the bright surroundings, bar area comfy but personally never keen on... Me and my boyfriend went here for lunch today, after a friend told me they do vegan food and we were very impressed, we had crispy chick pea fritters and crispy aubergine and artichoke parcels for starters and quinoa burger and butternut squash stew for main. Really nice food although the burger could benefit from a bit more flavour, the... More

4 of us went for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. I had pate and foie gras, beef bourguignon and chocolate fondant. All perfectly cooked. Washed down with a bottle of rioja. This is the third time i have eaten here and would recommend to anyone you should eat here. Good attentive service and reasonably priced.

A group of friends and I were looking for a pub to have a relaxed drink in in between Xmas and New Year. After enjoying a nice walk around the town and Fort we came across this pub. We walked in and were greeted by friendly helpful staff, and were delighted to find out that they allowed in dogs -... More

Went to this restaurant with my wife & some friends on New Years Eve. Did not go for the taster menu @£35.00pp so cannot comment on that. We ordered from the Al La Carte menu. I have an intolerance to anything with Garlic in it and so I have to inform anyone when eating out of this. I ordered the... More
