Visited for lunch not the best pub we've visited, decor very tired, food reasonable, very pleasant guy behind the bar, reasonable bar prices.

The food here is beautiful and very reasonable for the Lake District area. The staff are quite friendly and the pub itself is lovely.

Good tasting British food. It's not gastro and it's not posh but the food was properly cooked and decent quality. Has three cask ales and reasonable service. I would visit again.
