Just had a lovely family meal at the Pyne Arms. Really nice steak, massive double burger and the puddings are beautiful. A good mixture of local produced food, friendly staff and log fires.

Lovely food, lovely presentation and excellent value for money. Beautifully decorated old boozer with wood burner and friendly staff. A great place to stop while wandering the countryside.

We had a very difficult drive (we drove the "long route" i.e not off the A39) and arrived at 3.10pm and found the pub closed but we were advised that it would open at 5pm. We came back at around 5.45pm and the pub had...More
