Staying for a couple of days In Blairgowrie we had dinner included in our hotel stay but were very disappointed with the food offered. Found Carglll’s after searching for local bistros/restaurants and booked dinner for our last night’s stay. We were delighted with the menu...and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals - the best food we’ve had since we were in Greece 2 years ago before the pandemic interrupted good food venues! Highly recommended - not just the food but the waiting staff and the chef !More

It started with us being told on arrival that they had run out of venison and steak. The woodpigeon starter was overcooked to the point of tough and not pink as advertised in the menu. The main courses were okay but quite bland (boring). An...uninteresting menu with faults in cooking too.More

Excellent food, excellent service and our 10 year old was well looked after with specially prepared Mocktails. Cargill's is well worth a visit if ever in Blairgowrie. Thank you too all at Cargill's.

An interesting menu and great food, well presented. The restaurant was busy but they didn't forget us despite larger tables being present. Plenty of car parking just past the restaurant. Definitely worth visiting

We dined here one night whilst walking the cateran Trail. It is a lovely, friendly and cosy place and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Menu was varied and interesting and our starter of a wee fishcake came with a relish which we had...never encountered before. Delicious. Mains were generous, tasty and well cooked. A very pleasant evening.More

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere at Cargills. Myself and my friend needed warming and comforting food to keep us filled for farm work, it was a treat. The veg tikka was freshly made and so tasty. Haddock kedgeree was fantastic. The staff were so friendly...and warm, will definitely be back! Lots of happy regulars there too; a great sign.More
