Popped in here to deliver a parcel, owners were friendly and welcoming. The cream teas are lovely, home made scones. Outside seating is on several levels and has two garden areas. You can also visit the working mill. Lovely vintage pottery tableware. Dog friendly, our dog was given a biscuit. A quiet, relaxing spot away from the busyness of the... More

It was an unplanned visit to the tea room but I'm glad we did! Afternoon tea is very good, the scones were nice and big, and the banana cake was to die for. Plus you can do a free visit to the mill :) definitely recommend

Awesome location and owners. Pretty village feel. Fascinating water mill. Amazing cream teas and the title says it all. Great narrative and stories on the wall inside the mill too. An amazing find. Go visit!

We have heard great things about this mill for cakes and sandwiches, we were so glad that the tea room opened up again for the season whilst we were here, the sandwiches were delicious and the cakes to die for. We are so full we don't know how people manage the high tea with more sandwiches and cakes. Great that... More

Once again we called in for one of the best...in fact THE best cream tea you will find anywhere in Devon. Always fresh, plenty of choice, and always a nice welcome. You won't find better scones, and the cakes, gorgeous! Well worth a visit.

After a wet and windy walk in the rain along the coast we popped into Hele Mill. We were met by the friendly miller and the millers wife. We had a fantastic cream tea and an interesting chat.
