Just called in on the off chance for an afternoon drink. Mine a coke and hubby a real ale. The beer garden is virtually non existent in that there are a couple of tables directly outside and a bit of grassed area to the side. Inside I quickly noticed the pool table and gaming machine which for me is a... More

Walked to our local under the impression it was under new management and that the food had improved. Asked what dry white wine they had; I was told, Chardonnay. Completely undrinkable. When I handed it back to the barman, telling him it was awful, he said nothing. He didn't try it. I had half a bitter, which was very nice,... More

Called in for an evening meal on way to Tenby. On the plus side they allowed dogs in and the barmaid was pleasant and friendly. The menu is very limited. Gammon. Steak. Fish and chips , burgers, pies. Prawn salad. A selection of potatoes and sautéed mushroom, tomatoes and onion rings. I asked if I could have grilled tomato as... More

Being the most fussiest eater ever, I have visited Milton Brewery a few times in the last month and can honestly say the food has been fantastic, it's what I call good pub grub, very welcoming staff, also I took my own plate in for a take away as I felt poorly and was very welcomed with no fuss at all... Since the new landlord has taken over there's no atmosphere there anymore and when you walk into the pub there's all eyes on you as if you shouldn't be there. The food is mediocre and I shall never visit there again - very very disappointing.

Called for an impromptu meal. Friendly pub, nice staff good atmosphere...ordered the ribeye steak special. Good choice. tasted great, tidy portion, reasonable price. If my wife and I had been alone it would be a tidy 4/5. My sister in law ordered the sweet chilli salmon, with sautéed potatoes and salad. Poor. Thin slice of salmon, salad at best was... More
