Went for breakfast. Waited 10 minute to get a cup of tea and glass of water..waiter disappeared...had to stop another waiter to get more water and yet another for my bill. Food was lukewarm and I wasn't treated very well.

Airport cafes many years ago were not much to write about. However times have moved on and you could do a lot worse than the Armadillo Cafe & Grill. The staff were friendly and clearly work hard catering the masses passing through the terminal. A varied menu, which revolves around your classic English breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages & beans.... More

We had breakfast here, prior to departing on a flight. We had the Avocado Southwest Breakfast and Veggie Benny. I loved the Veggie benny - it was served with quinoa, rather than the expected potatoes. Amazing! Beautiful plates and coffee mugs! We had regular coffees that were included in our meal cost... or they were forgotten on our bill? The... More

Good service and food. You can order eggs how you like: fried, poached, scrambled but omelettes were not available! Disappointed but perhaps at £8 you haven't got the scope to crack open 3 eggs & put them in a pan? Otherwise pleased with our choices of Avocado & scrambled on a toasted muffin & scrambled egg on toast.

Very pricey for the lack of quality, service was slow and waited for what seemed a lifetime also heard other guests complaining. Not a good start to my hol. Am used to paying £13 for gourmet burgers not for inferior quality!

I have eaten here any times and the menu offers everything that you would expect. I would recommend the poached eggs benedict Plenty of seating and easily located past security I would usually give 5 stars but the speed and level of service was not up to its best with a number of patrons waiting a long time for food... Expensive and greasy. The full english breakfast for 9.95 and 1 extra slice of bread for 1 pound. Cola is Pepsi. No Coke. Coffee is good for Britains but to the rest of the world its warm brown water.

Restaurant is really busy and ate here for breakfast quickly before a flight. Do not order the egg on toast, bread was burnt and didnt taste very nice, my husbands food looked amazing though and he enjoyed it! I would recommended the armadillo mocktail-was very refreshing. Service is pretty quick so would eat here again if I did not have... More

We ate here before our flight, staff were friendly but service was a bit slow but they were very busy. It is quite cramped in the seating to the rear and very hot too but we would eat here again before a flight
