You will enjoy good food, well prepared from an extensive and varied menu. Must book for peak times. Good location just outside city centre with views to Wallace Monument and Stirling University. Also a great place for a casual drink, especially on a pleasant evening...More

Recommend by Witches Craig Caravan Park. Interesting eatery with old farming memorabilia plus other artefacts. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Food good and an extensive menu. Busy on a Monday night in April so must be popular!

Went for a light sharing platter with my partner whilst our boy had a burger in our final stop on the way to Aviemore. Busy Saturday but good service. Reasonably priced and our dog was welcomed in the bar area.

Food superb, service excellent, atmosphere perfect. What more could you ask for on a bitterly cold Easter Monday. Have used this restaurant for over twelve years and never been disappointed.

Description
An award winning restaurant situated in the green and pleasant village of Causewayhead in Stirling, The Birds and The Bees is a dining room built around a passion for food. Located in an old one story whitewashed farmstead, The Birds and The Bees proudly displays its rusticity, with cartwheels on the outside walls, a choice of two beer gardens and exposed brick and open fires aplenty inside. The result is a cosy and warm, the lighting kept low and an eclectic mix of old and new decorative touches providing character and a talking point too. As an informal wine-bar and bistro, The Birds and The Bees has an informal atmosphere matched by the menu, a tempting collection of dishes both locally and internationally influenced, all using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The kitchen staff really care about the food theyre cooking, evidenced by not only the high level of flavour in their homecooked dishes but also in the careful, attractive presentation of every plate. Drink options include a great many carefully selected wines as well as excellent ales and lagers on tap.
