We had a 2-star experience but I've given the third star for the sheer comedy value. We were a party of 10, including visitors to N Ireland, an acquaintance booked the table in the restaurant upstairs. We were seated at the other end of a...More

Called in with family for a few drinks, the grey haired man who I assume was the manager is extremely rude and shouldn't be in this position as he has no customer service or manners at all. As I was ordering he decided to try...More

Hi Kelly, I'm sorry to hear that you were in recently and found one of our staff to be 'unfriendly'. That's not at all the attitude we want to portray and it's not what we strive for. Would you like to contact the bar via...More

Stopped into this typical little pub on our way home from Bangor. Very dated interior but makes it quite quaint in an old traditional pub type of style. Not the cleaniest but guess that's all part of the experience! Ordered 2 adult and 1 children...More

Great bar lunch. Chose four starters as we wanted nibbly food rather than a 'big meal' as we had dinner booked in the evening. Great portions and very tasty. Sports on tv and good atmosphere. Friendly staff. A tad pricey, (especially spirits) but maybe thats...More

Description
Refurbished in 2012, Wolsey's is seen by many as one of Bangors best bars. Comfortable and relaxed surroundings ensure all who dine with us do so with ease and content. Head Chef Peter Harrison has created a menu that has something for everyone, and you certainly won't be disappointed! Chef Peter is well known for unrivalled steaks, burgers and seafood dishes, whilst still delivering home comforts such as lasagne and goujons, hearty soups and hand cut chips. Our produce is sourced locally from our free range eggs from Barr Eggs to our meat sourced from Mawhinneys Butchers of Bangor. We believe in strengthening our relationship with local suppliers to enhance our contribution to the economy, and we can guarantee that each of our delicious dishes will have been created from the freshest of ingredients.
