Food can vary depending on what time you visit. Late in the afternoon is a bad time as everything has been picked over and normally just the leftovers remain. Fry's normally good but greasy and can sometimes be served cold. Layout changed for the restaurant as did the service. No longer able to help yourself to ice/water or condiments including... More

This is exactly as described in the name. Don't expect fine dining, but for delicious breakfasts, and homely dinners, can't be beaten!

Passed this wee place hundreds of times and always thought it was a fast food greasy spoon type place.....boy was I surprised. Two grandsons insisted on going after playing football at Bangor F.C.....They have a separate takeaway section but the main building inside is quite large, open and airy and very clean. tables or booths and larger tables as well.... It does exactly what it says on the tin. Large portion sizes of "home cooked" style food. Never a problem getting a seat and staff are always smiling.

We have being going to Pit Stop for many years and can say it only gets better. Great food at great prices. Good choice of food and not bad prices. It is not up market but a place you can just up and go to.The fry's are great value but I can't finish one

First class friendly staff and very helpful. Great meal and lovely food, with very generous helpings. Plus the price was reasonable as well. Certainly will be back.

Visit the pit stop regularly for breakfast. I have never had any complaints about the food. It is always to a high standard and the staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. It's definitely worth a visit. The open fire is a big plus. I love it .
