We popped into the Egerton Arms after visiting Jodrell Bank. The pub is easy to find, offers good car parking facilities, and also has an adjoining deli for some takeaway delights. The Egerton arms looks and feels great inside, the staff were very alert and...More

New Years Day may not be a typical lunchtime as the dining areas were full with tables of old, young and in between. The young bar staff were stretched but coped well and the ales were well kept, particularly the Wassale and the Rambler. Service...More

It's really nice to go to a place, sit in a warm environment, and get food that matches the style. The egerton is a well polished establishment which, at least when we went, worked flawlessly. Plates were probably a bit more than I could eat...More

As we live only half a mile away, this should be our 'local' pub, but we've had so many disappointments over the years that we have tended to avoid it. Yesterday, my wife and I decided to give it another try at lunchtime. It was...More

Been plenty of times for business lunches. It’s always as a good atmosphere which we like although you have to wait to get your food. Prices are a little on the high side but the food is always tasty. Always popular which tells its own...More

We stopped here recently for lunch after visiting nearby Jodrell Bank. What a good find!! The pub was warm and welcoming, and we found a table near the fire, as it was quite early, and wasn’t too busy. There is a very extensive menu, so...More

Description
The Egerton Arms is a traditional country pub with low beams, big fireplaces, bizarre antiques and a long bar with old brass pumps. Having now been revived as a local to the townsfolk of sunny Chelford, the pub features a fully equipped hundred-seater restaurant with friendly table service. All food is sourced locally by our experienced and very serious chefs (serious about food that is). The menu is a selection of classic pub favourites and then the chef goes wild on his specials chopping board.
