My family and I (husband and 2 children) ate dinner here, and I have to say I really don't know what the fuss is about? The staff were not very welcoming at all. Perhaps it was because we had children with us. I'm not sure. We arrived at 18:10 and we're told that food wasn't served until 18:30. Not a... More

My wife and I first visited St Tudy Inn when Emily Scott had only just taken over the pub, following her success at Harbour Restaurant in Port Isaac. It was a few years ago now and it was still more akin to a foodie-pub at that time, but did have nice restaurant space even then. Since then the Restaurant has... More

I can highly recommend this beautiful Inn. My husband and I had a drink in the afternoon but the staff were so friendly and the surrounding so calming and clean we returned in the evening for a meal. Luckily we managed to get a table, just and that was a Thursday evening so I highly recommend you book. We both... More

Perhaps a little slow service and at times confused, but a beautiful relaxed environment with faultless tasty food. Thoroughly enjoyable experience for us.

My wife knows that a new place to eat is not going to be as good as she hopes when she orders her Diet Coke and it comes out of a mixer pump and not a bottle. It's a little thing, but it is a sign that someone is taking a short cut. St Tudy Inn is a lovely, well... More

Booked up without knowing much about this place, but found it surpassed our expectations. food quality very good; menu not too big but all dishes we chose were cooked to a high standard.

First of all we was recommended this place by a local , we would just like to say the food we had was very good , however we feel that the owners are charging far too much money for what you get , the menu choice on this particular night for supper was Fish & Chips, Sirloin Steak, Cornish Sausages... Pretty village setting, very friendly and attentive staff - like the touch of the cocktail menu and the fire! Food was great and portion size and price were spot on. Lovely atmosphere on a Saturday evening and it was nice not to be rushed through our meal at a peak time. Will definitely go back.

I. loved this restaurant. The ambience was stylishly but simply done and care had been taken with every details. The food I had was superb. I had two starters on this occasion - figs with a cheese that was new to me - and then scallops which were delicious. Next time I look forward to testing more of their creations,... More

After hearing great things about St Tudy, we came here for lunch a couple of weeks ago. I found the lunch menu uninspired and had a starter and main from the specials board. I went for scallops in garlic & chilli followed by a steak and kidney pie. The scallops were lovely but the pie was very average in my... More

I'm glad you thought the scallops were lovely, they are a very popular dish on our menu! However, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the steak pie. We don't like to disappoint any of our guests, so please let me know when you decide to revisit us for dinner and we will do our best to make sure you leave happy.... More
