Great place to stop for lunch when walking from Ham House to Richmond, then up the hill to the viewpoint next to this pub. Staff excellent, food and drinks choice very good.
Can be very busy and service slow as a result but good value for such a stunning location. Fabulous views, cosy atmosphere, very friendly.

Beautiful location across road to a seating area to enjoy best view for miles. Good traditional character pub. Typical pub menu suit most tastes. Very busy particularly in fine weather & enjoyed by dog walkers, cyclists, friends etc.
