I ended up eating at Betos every night of my trip because the experience was that amazing. The fish was so fresh and the flavors in the ceviche were incredible. We ate right on the water and were able to watch the most magical sunset....The playlist had the perfect variety of songs, and I even downloaded the playlist so that I could enjoy it throughout my trip. Lastly, I could not have asked for better service. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.More

Amazing restaurant by the ocean, the sunset there is just breathtaking! The place is crowded all the time, mainly because the food is absolutely at top! Go for all kind of fish or "camarones" (shrimps)...you take no risk! You need patience, cause the waiting time...might be long.More

We finally manage to go the restaurant after being so busy to get in during the times we pass by. Loved the location next to a beautiful sunset and awkward evening of interruption of lighting . Food was great but price was in between. Services...takes awhile bc they are always busy but hey cant complain. We had the mariscada $$ and fish entree with dessert. Recommend it and try to arrive whenever but be patients.More

We stopped by here while doing a day trip from San Salvador to El Zonte. We were there to see the sunset, per recommendation given to us. Pros: beautiful place, beautiful views, amazing sunset Cons: average and overpriced food, slow service

Family of five went last evening, a Wednesday night around 5 until 8. It was our second time in a few weeks and while first visit wasn’t great, we thought perhaps an “off” night and decided to try again. The service was so poor my...husband had to keep putting his arm up to get attention, all the way from ordering drinks to ordering dinner or even water refills. It was just awful. After a few appetizers all the plates were left on our table and the waiters pushed them aside to set food down but we had to ask twice for dirty plates to be removed. The appetizers (one ceviche and calamari) took almost an hour to land, and after that that we were hesitant to order dinner dishes so opted to order just three to share, which took another hour and request for waiters to check to see if ready. Dishes were apparently waiting to be picked up since he came back with them directly. Not once did a waiter ask how our food was or if we need anything. Finally after much frustration I went to find a woman who appeared to be in charge and after that we were able to get tables cleared, boxes to go and the check in under 15 minutes. Over $125 for 2 apps, three dinners and a round of five drinks. 10% tip is automatically added to check and I hated to pay it, but we just wanted out. Thanks goodness it wasn’t a weekend when it would have been busier…don’t recommend and won’t go back, so many other places to choose from where view is great, and the food and service is way better.More

Extensive menu with something for everyone. Only draw back is that it does not appear to be wheel chair accessible. The appetizers are huge portions; good for sharing. The higo pie is one of my all time favorites.

We were unsure what to expect as fast as food choices along carretera litoral. Family suggested Beto's so we gave it a try. I'll start with the views...incredible!! Seating is on multiple platforms each with great views. Menu was quite extensive with many more options...than we expected. Food was great. Prices were definitely tourist prices. Beto's holds the number one spotin our book for restaurants along carretera litoral!More

We have family down there so they recommend we have lunch there. The atmosphere is more upscale than most of the places along the coast. Seems to be a lot of tourists eating there. Menu has nice variety and food was decent. Service, on the...other hand, was a disaster. Food took over an hour to start coming out and even then, it arrived at different times. We were a group of 10 and it was over 30 minutes between the first person and last person to get their meal. Mind you, there were multiple orders of the same thing.More

This is the best food we have ever had in El Salvador! The fried shrimp was delicious and the frozen fruit drinks (non-alcoholic) were fantastic! Our table was right on the water overlooking the waves crashing in...and we got to see the beautiful sunset as...well! We will be back again and again!More

The food was outstanding, service was great, prices were reasonable. The only thing is that the menu is big so it took a long time to pick the meal!

One the restaurants of the chain, this a La Libertad. Big menu, stunning view on the ocean. On 2 floors, the back seats when it rains are llees good. It’s more pricey than other restaurants in the country but it’s a top destination.
