Well, I went back to dinner at the restaurant 3 hills in Langhe. A few years have passed since the last time, I can say very well. I chose this farmhouse attracted by the excellent and almost unanimous reviews. I'm writing this review to scale back a bit. The place is undoubtedly nice and welcoming as is the very kind and attentive staff. However, the dishes did not live up to the reviews. After a good mixed starter, we tasted a series of absolutely anonymous dishes... a gnocchi with a very weak cheese sauce, and a second course (pork in thousand leaves) which seemed to be seasoned with the same sauce as the gnocchi (in any case it resembled very) of no relevance, we saved ourselves a little at the end with a good tasting of Rocca Verano cheeses. So I would say overall a place without infamy and without praise, average, but absolutely to be scaled down compared to the chorus of super positive reviews that had led me to choose.

Gift for my husband's 50th birthday. Very welcome gift especially for the beautiful place and excellent cuisine. Courteous and welcoming service. The owner kind and courteous person who makes you just put at ease. We also slept there 2 nights. The rooms are nice and clean. Very welcoming. Super breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice authentic Italian food in beautiful surroundings. The place is located in the hills outside Bubbio in peace and tranquility. There is good food and a taste menu if you want it all through.

Open for the bank holiday midweek the restaurant was fully booked and it was a single sitting set menu meal that started at 12.30 and was still going at 16.30!
Multiple courses with second servings offered with many of them.
Raw beef and veal featured. Chicken salad. Pasta. Beef with nut sauce and roast potatoes.
A sparkling wine appetiser. Local Barbera red, Moscato d'Asti with dessert and and grappa to finish, if you had the stamina!
All served with flourish and enthusiasm.

We've been there for just a couple of days, but our stay was really pleasant. The place is authentic, no frills, but comfortable and clean. Not to mention the food, delicious and genuinely Piedmontese. Paola and Massimiliano are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy Piedmont and relax surrounded by nature.

we spent a saturday night there and the restaurant was filled with many locals. the owners work in the service and the kitchen and you can feel this throughout the night. the service is very attentive and every course gets a refill - something pretty rare these days. we had wonderfull tatar as a starter and a great chicken salad. the pasta was delicious but then topped by a roast with two sauces, a dark and a white one. each tasty and superb. the desert was a fresh and juicy strawberry cake. the housewine was delicious too - especially the muscato warmed our hearts.
