What a find - purely by chance (if it wasn't for the road diversion!). Food excellent and the staff very pleasant and attentive. We travel to North Norfolk often and will definitely go to The Duck Inn again

We don't live near Stanhoe, but visit North Norfolk quite regularly. We booked for lunch today before travelling home after a weekend away. What an excellent decision it was too! We totally overestimated how long it would take us to get to Stanhoe, and arrived nearly 45 minutes before our booked time, and we didn't really want to eat quite... More

I booked here as it's my favourite place to eat in Norfolk and had heard such good things about the Sunday lunch, so when my boyfriends birthday arrived, I decided to treat him, and my goodness we were not disappointed! Absolutely blown away by the Roast beef - I'm a fussy one when it comes to having Sunday lunch out... More

Wow, what can I say,,, greeted with such warmth, we were given a lovely welcome by all the staff, the food was absolutely delicious, we were treated so lovely, even diners at the restaurant wished us girls happy birthdays, and a lovely gentleman bought us a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate. We couldn't have asked for a better... More

One of our favourite places for lunch; we come back here for a lazy lunch from time to time. Even mid week it is advisable to book because it is so popular. Not rushed, the service is tailored to your mood and we were in no hurry. There are two menus, the "specials" and the a la carte. We mixed... More

We booked two nights at this wonderful pub. The staff go out of their way to be welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the food simply excellent. All boxes therefore ticked for a five star review!

Lucky to get a table for lunch - for midweek in early March, it was heaving. A varied menu to suit all tastes and pockets and the blackboard 'bar bites' selection looked scrummy. The staff were very professional and friendly and the trade garden I am sure will be a big pull in warmer months.

Family get together started with lunch at the Duck. The Elwoods beer was excellent and the menu ranged from fine dining options to more traditional pub choices. All the ones we had were very tasty and well presented. Good to see locally sourced ingredients (such as Brancaster cockles) being incorporated.

Stopped for a family lunch with no reservation, was a very warm and friendly welcome. It was a lovely restaurant , the menu seemed expensive until the wonderful food arrived. Salmon risotto was perfectly cooked and the ham, eggs and chips was delicious and a very large serving. Would highly recommend this establishment. Friendly, efficient and fast service. Toilets are...
