We stayed here in The Old Chapel cottage from 23rd - 27th Dec, just arrived home in fact.
What can I say? From arrival to departure it was an absolute treat!! On arrival the key was in the door & we unpacked & settled in nicely. The cottage was extremely clean & well furnished with a comfortable bed/mattress, comfortable seating & a small dining table. There's a lovely log burner for those who know how to get the best out of them, we didn't have much luck with it but that was down to us & not the burner. Kindling, logs & matches were provided. We also found a nice welcome gift of lager, wine & mince pies plus a well filled hospitality tray to start us off.
The site was very quiet, perhaps because it's Christmas week, but very well kept, immaculate in fact.
The clubhouse was open on Christmas Eve so we popped in for a drink & found the hosts & some locals to be very welcoming.
On departure we left the cottage clean & tidy & returned the key to the door as found. We did however meet a staff member as we left who was very nice to speak to, as was Jess, the owner of the cottages, when we met her on Christmas Eve.
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, we'll certainly be back again.

What a truly amazing place and a fantastic weekend. Like most it's a long time since we have been anywhere. It was so much more than we expected. The cottage is simply stunning, the private caravan park is is fabulous and the people and clubhouse experience was second to none. Just want to say a huge thanks to the owner family who looked after us and had a beer with us. Thank you very much

Booked early in 2020 and looked forward to this holiday for over a year and it did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the self catering cottages and what a joy. Great location, great staff, great amenities. A few teething issues which were addressed with the owners but nothing to mention on this site. This is a repeat place for us and that is all one needs to say. A huge pat on the back to all concerned

An honest review -
Site is run down, pool is not heated, the owners of the place are not actually running a business; they are just having a holiday themselves and the reception is always empty. We had an issue and the owner swore at children, swore at customers, it wasn’t a great experience. We actually left a day early!
Caravans are run down, need a good clean - dust hanging from ceilings and it is obvious owners don’t care as long as they have your money.
I would say, save your money, go to a site that is closer in location to the actual attractions of West Wales and avoid giving your money to the rude arrogant owners of this site.
Beach at the bottom of this site is great for a day out - spend £5 and park for the day, then return to your accommodation that is actually of high standard, with great site owners that want to help/work!

Five stars for the beautifully located cottage where we stayed for a week. The place was very clean and nicely decorated; peaceful and within easy reach to the beach. We loved it BUT, the customer service did not exist. We arrived and there was no one to tell us where the cottage was or where to park. Luckily my wife saw the gardener who told us to open a gate to get to the cottage. We wanted to use the swimming pool and there was no one in Reception (there was a sign saying ring the receptionist). A very young child told us that his mommy was not there and a man came and told us that there was a rota. I assumed that the swimming pool was locked so I phoned the receptionist. She phoned us when she came back and later we saw her in the reception but she did not have the decency to welcome us.
I thought that she was rather rude. The swimming pool is not heated ; there is no evidence of hot water coming out. In summary, terrible service. One expects someone to welcome you, to make sure you have all you need, etc.; to provide you with information about how to use the storage heating (we are not used to this) the electric heater did not work but there was no one to help. Probably the receptionist will say that there is a phone number to ring; but guests should not have to go searching for the receptionist every time is required. I recommend that the friendly and professional Polish gardener should be the Manager, she seems to have the competencies needed for the job.

Had an amazing holiday. We stayed in the haybarn and the cottage was so much cosier and bigger than I thought from the pictures. Lovely beaches and everyone was so friendly. Big thanks to Jess and Dai for making us feel so welcome.

Surrounded with stunning views of the coast and colourful seaside towns. It's a great place to come take your family away to see the best parts of West Wales. I stayed with some friends in a caravan and we had such a great time. The caravan was nice and clean, with a small swimming pool and park close by which was great for the kids.

We stayed in a cottage for a week in July. The club was only open Friday and Saturday night and Sunday lunch which was a shame. The food on Saturday was lovely. Fairly priced and cooked to order so a little wait but no detriment. Sunday lunch was even better. A good choice of meat and plenty of vegetables. There is even a possibility of 3 courses if you can eat that much. Fairly priced but you have to book. Great, friendly staff who were very helpful. We also made use of the pool. There is no shop on site but there is one a mile away in the village although it is up a hill if you are walking. A peaceful, quiet get away.

Had a lovely time staying at this country club. we stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely. the cottage itself is very quaint. it has been modernised inside and as a whole is really lovely. the kitchen has everything you need and bathroom also the bedrooms are an ideal size. plenty of room for myself, partner and two children. the food in the restaurant was also really lovely, they are not tight on the portion sizes either. the staff were all friendly also.
the family who run the park are also extremely helpful and are doing a great job.
the park itself is really nice. there are views of the sea also and opportunities to go walking which i enjoy.
would defiantly stay there again. summertime would be lovely.

Had a lovely 2 nite stay over a weekend. The staff were warm and friendly and the food was of a high standard with big portions and also a lovely sunday lunch. The coastal walks were to die for . The bar was well stocked with a top gin menu which i took full advantage of after some lovely walks.
