A quick pit stop for tea and cake. An interesting little café with some great teas to choose from. Purchased a spicy scented candle too from their little selection of tasteful gifts. Lovely, friendly staff.

I love everything about this cafe! The wonderful staff, homely atmosphere, gorgeous selection of food and the fact they sell gifts and crafts from quality local producers, so you might find yourself coming away with some cute gifts or souvenirs from your visit. I highly recommend the full breakfast and the tray bakes are to die for! Sara and her... More

We visited this cafe on Easter Sunday morning after a walk round the village and a look at the graves. The cafe was busy and there aren't many tables inside but service was quick and the coffee, tea and scone and treacle tart were very good. My family enjoyed their pot of tea - the tea was from Northern Tea... More

I was quite excited about visiting the Village Green. I'd looked on the website before and had high expectations from other reviews. This is often a formula for disappointment when they're not met but thankfully that wasn't the case. The staff were very welcoming and looked after us very well. The food, for the price and the nature of it... More

Love the Village Green - the food is always spot on and the coffee is yummy. One of my favourite places to go for lunch, cake and coffee.

Perfect place for a bite to eat when you are walking around Eyam. Nice variety of tasty, healthy food with something for everyone. Not big, so get there early.

We stayed in Eyam for a long weekend and had breakfast here on both mornings. It is a lovely quirky cafe with local crafts and produce for sale and there is a good selection of food. The cafe is can get a bit cramped when busy but we sat on the tables outside on the second morning which was better.... More

Stopped off here with a group of cyclists on a Sunday morning club run. We were all impressed with the generous size of the coffees we had and the cakes were fantastic too, with something to tickle everyone's fancy! Friendly service as well.

I was lucky enough to book a table for afternoon tea today (Mother's Day) as a treat for my mum...and we had the most wonderful time. Sara's touches give Cafe Village Green the edge and as a result the cafe exudes character, friendliness and a refreshing, unique environment. Her team are polite, attentive and coped calmly and admirably with what... More

Had a cycling stop off and had a latte and a bakewell pudding which came with clotted cream and some big strawberries. The coffee was really good and the bill £6.60.
