Visited midweek in the off season (Oct) and the food was lovely, in season (Jun-Dec) the mussels are Local and can be seen at low tide on the beach. The food was excellent and considering how busy very timely. If you're in the area I would recommend. Price was very reasonable- although current exchange rate makes it a bit more... More

This is essentially a pub restaurant, simple food, very cheap, we came here several times, during our visit and each time the wait became longer! Our last visit,it took a good hour to take our order,it came pretty quickly and no complaints about quality or quantity, but we all decided that we fancied a dessert and we waited and waited, until after another hour,we... Visiting the beautiful old city of Dinan we've spotted this restaurant, read the menu - and liked it. Both the food as well as the service were excellent. Certainly recommended!

This was the closest bar/restaurant to our rented house,we must have visited four or five times, food is plentiful and cheap,I do wish there was a different dish of the day though because I got a bit fed up with the limited choice,I cannot eat shellfish as allergic and everything came with chips and salad, maybe some pommes lyonnaise ,duchess, or sauté... Sometimes I wish Tripadvisor had a 'good' rating - this is such a case in question, as the restaurant is probably above average but not up to 'very good'. We were staying in the delightful village of Saint Jacut, so La Goellette was highly convenient but on the basis of our visit not worth a detour - it is of... More

We had dined here 3 times in May 2013 and were looking forward to revisiting the restaurant during a week's stay in St Jacut in September 2014. We went twice and were sadly very disappointed. On both occasions we were served by the same very unhelpful and unsmiling waitress. On the second visit she also managed to completely mix up... More

The lunch was good but not very good.My partner had fish soup which was very average. My Tuna carpaccio was tasty and we both enjoyed the sardines. It seems a popular venue. The house wine was pleasant and the coffee good.Staff were friendly so apart from the soup it was a good experience. It was nice to sit outside in the sunshine.

I followed the menu gourmand - 3 good courses for 25 euros, husband had paella. All washed down by a local rose...I was expecting 3 smallish dishes but they were more than ample....very good value for Provence & even England. There was a mountain of fish in the paella, husband said he had never seen so much in one dish.... More

We found this after driving through Sant Jacut to get a closer view of the muscle beds. We had no problem getting a table, but at the end of August, this is already a quiter time in Brittany...if you go earlier in the summer, it's probably best to book a table. I had a very tasty bowl of moules et... More

We arrived early after a day at the beach to find all but 1 table on the terrace reserved. We had the pizza, which we enjoyed. While eating many other casual diners called in hoping for a table but were unlucky. It may be best to reserve.
