Just funded a great meal here. We both had the barbequed John Dory, followed by a duo of chocolate dessert. Gluten free upon request which was nice. Service friendly and efficient. Recommended by our local b&b.

Over the years we have been frequent visitors to this pub and seen it expand. Alas, gone are the days when a seafood pancake would set you back £8. They are now £18. Having moved away 18 months ago, we jumped at the chance to...More

I haven’t been for a couple of years and I wasn’t disappointed. The seafood pancake is still simply divine. Despite the storm problems a lot of people were visiting the village. The newly refurbished rooms look excellent.

We visited here on the Easter Bank holiday and managed to get a table. The menu is not extensive and, although it looks a little commercial, it isn't. There are always about 3 specials, usually fish and the deserts are lovely! The seafood pancake is...More

Excellent Sunday lunch on a bitterly cold winters day! Beef was very good indeed, with great veg as sides. Good choice of puds too. Very, very good service - prompt, efficient & friendly! Spotlessly clean loos too. Highly recommend.
