The food here is really good, but what you really need to try is their ginger drinks. They have one called TT special which is amazing and another drink which is probably the best drink I've ever had (unfortunately I forgot the name, but it's the first one on their drink list and it contains, banana, ginger honey and lime).... Eat here a number of times. Such good value for money. The fish were particularly good especially the sword fish. The owner Howard is a great guy doing lots of good work in the area. Make sure you visit.

I didn't eat here but the staff was nice, the menu was decently priced, and they had the best Wi-Fi in the area...

We stayed in a little chalet next to Tip Top Restaurant and enjoyed their food and the company of fellow travelers. The girls (that's how Howard, the owner, refers to them) of Tip Top are very helpful and bloody good cooks. The breakfast plate with fresh fruit, toast and kaya is very good and so is their Nasi Goreng. Here's... More

Topat Do Amans restaurant, Tip Top, on the tip of Borneo deserves max Stars for food, experience, creative thinking and an absolute unique atmosphere. Howard and Lorina are working very hard together with the rest of the staff - beeing it volunteers or hired. We stayed at Tip of Borneo beachresort, but had all our meals on Tip Top.

We stayed nearby Tip Top and the owner Howard’s for a week, and we enjoyed our meals at Tip Top (Howard’s) almost every day – it was the best food we had in Asia; fresh tuna-steaks, lamb-chops and even cheesecake for a very decent price! We traveled around southeast Asia for 7 months and this was the best food and... More

We tried Havana - the local fish mix with lemon juice and onion, seved in cold with hot toast, I like it! Must try! We also took the spaghettini and beef burger, both just taste so so! If you are beer lover, must try the Vietnam beer, very smooth! They also provide other services like longushouse rented, jugly trekking, snorkeling,... More

We stayed at Tampat do Aman and ate at TipTop for every meal. The food was completely delicious at very good prices. The location is unbeatable too - on a beautiful, deserted beach. The drinks here were amazing too - the smoothies and fruit juices were incredible. There was a good variety of food too and the service was great.... More

What more could you want? Delicious, homemade food, served at reasonable prices and only metres from a gorgeous beach! We ate three meals a day here for three days and never had a bad meal. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place to base yourself for the day. Try the chicken curry and the local fish dish!
