We stayed at Marahau and thought we'd try this very popular cafe. It was very busy, with a queue of people waiting to be served but the staff got through the orders as fast as they could. The food on offer sounded good but was nothing fantastic. My husband had the Bruschetta which was a very small portion and not... More

Stopped here for breakfast before our Kayaking trip. Excellent location with sea views. Service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, our whole group enjoyed their meals. The music playing was an additional plus. Cheerful way to start the day!

This was the only café open in Marahau & the staff said they would normally be closed by now. They were a little overwhelmed by the numbers coming along but worked flat out & did very well. They ran out of pulled pork burgers (my husband's choice) so he had the beef burger with a cute basket of chips on... More

Visited 3 times this year. Great place. Grand views, food just delicious. Roast lamb tender tasty and just the right amount. Squid very popular. All staff helpful and polite. We like coming here. Zoe you have a wonderful atmosphere. Book in advance at the height of summer.

We visited twice as the seafood spaghetti was so good. But we also enjoyed the fish of the day and the lamb rump. Happy hour is a nice way to start to see the sun setting over the bay. The staff are very pleasant and can find time for a quick chat.

We decided to have lunch here after finishing the Abel Tasman Coastal Walk. While probably any food would have tasted great after "freeze dry food" It was really tasty and decent portions. I had the beef burger which was absolutely tops.

We had happy hour drinks after a great day out on the water taxi exploring Abel Tasman. Staff were really friendly & lovely. Great beer garden area that has a relaxed atmosphere. We were staying across the road in the Marahau Beach Camp & already had our dinner organised. The food did look great & I asked if I could... More

Found this on the recommendation of BellBird Lodge. Warm and inviting on a very rainy evening. Dinner was very good, local seafood offerings, good wine, great staff. May be hard to fine but worth the effort.

We enjoyed our meal here with tasty food and really pleasant service. Did find it to be pretty pricey but good quality at least.

Description
Hooked on Marahau is a cafe and beer garden located on the Marahau waterfront; 1.5Km from the start of the Abel Tasman National Park's Coastal Track. Hooked has arguably the best view in the area with vistas across Tasman Bay and north along the Astrolabe to Adele and Fisherman's Islands in the Abel Tasman. We serve cafe style breakfast and lunches with barista coffee and homemade baked goods. We also have a daily happy hour from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Dinner is bistro style with local wines and locally brewed craft beers.
