Fat Tui makes wonderful burgers and pretty decent fish and chips. My biggest complaint about this place is how long it takes to get food. On a Monday night we waited over an hour for our order and there weren't that many people there. Overall, it's worth the wait but definitely be prepared for it.

Amazing burgers - huge, yummy choker block with delicious ingredients. Lovely setting outside on the tables, great chalk board menu to select from. Obviously a popular spot for locals and tourists. Even provide insect repellent, so that the sand flies don't spoil the setting and delicious food.

We walked passed Fat Tui several times and ignored it. It looked like a private BBQ rig in someone's front yard. We were so wrong. If you are familiar with the US culinary craze of food trucks, you are half way to what is going on here. It's all about great food and lots of it. I had a breakfast... More

The fat, juicy, tasty burgers were quite satisfying and a bit more than I expected. They were huge, had lots of delicious things in it I had never seen before in a hamburger and they were very tasty. We also had a big bag of Kumara chips with 2 different types of sauce. They were amazing. The service was fast... More

We came to this place after our day trip in Abel Tasman park and were really happy. It was worth to wait a while. Burgers we got were really big and filled with all possible staff. Would never expect such good quality delivered from simple wagon. Unfortunately they couldn't make coffee at that moment. Donuts nothing special at all.

Enjoyed possibly the best burgers ever here after a long walk in the park. 'Ewe Beut' and 'The Bulls Eye' went down a treat.

The burgers definitely lived up to the expectations - they were huge and delicious! Kumara chips are a must too. The only disappointment was the dessert. They give you only 3 tiny regular donuts for the price. In most places you'd get at least 10 for a similar price so it's not worth it.

We only stayed in Marahau for two nights and we visited twice. The Hau was a unexpected delight. In all honesty it's the perfect burger. Generous in size, packed with juicy meat, fresh salad surrounded with by a wholesome seeded bun. The off the hook fish burger was also incredible. The Fat Tui puts out such good vibes. Everything is... More

The Muss burger was to die for, fish burger a bit greasy but yummy salads, the works my cousin couldn't eat it all & chips very yummy. Loved that they have tomato sauce you can take back to your table. Great service & quick considering there were lots of people there. Will be back!

Excellent fast food after tramping the Able Tasman. I hope to go there again one day. Ask a local :-)
