Went today for lunch, our second visit. Meal was quite nice, not cheap though. Paid the bill for my wife and myself of over £60. At about quarter to 8 tonight we were called by the restaurant and accused of not paying our bill. When...More

Dear Amanda K, Once again I can only apologise for the upset that has come about, it wasn't my intention to come across as accusing you of not paying, I was merely trying to recall what had happened and as soon as I remembered I...More

Popped in for snack and drink with kids. Not a great start as we were unable to open a tab since we were outside. Not sure why this should matter, it's the pub area /tables. Great potential location wise but left feeling very underwhelmed and...More

Over late May Bank holiday we camped with our two dogs at the campsite next door. Unusually on our two visits my wife and I had the same thing: burger and Sunday roast beef. On both occasions they were understaffed and very busy, so booking...More

We decided to drop in for lunch as we were travelling in the area. The lady behind the bar (landlady?) was pleasant and helpful. The food was well presented and hot but the ploughmans for £14 was expensive for what it consisted of. Had an...More

Went here bank holiday Monday with my wife daughter and small dog. Sat out side by the river and enjoyed the sun. The food was very good and freshly cooked. Good service and friendly at the bar with very good selection of drinks.

Visited Bank Holiday Monday late lunchtime. Weather hot & sunny. Parked on opposite side of river and went across on the chain ferry-a treat in itself, helped by the very friendly and efficient operator. Pub was packed, both inside & out, with some reserved tables...More

Just been charged £4.60 for a pint of 4.2% abv Belhaven beer. Seriously taking the p*ss. Won't ever step over the threshold of this ripoff establishment again. Disgraceful.

You would have though a pub/restaurant on the banks of the beautiful broads on a sunny bank holiday Monday would be organised enough not to have to stop taking food orders at 1215 but this one managed it.

Started off by arriving two hours before they were serving food. We were advised to book (there were 4 adults and 2 children). We arrived and all seats and tables were empty! We were shown our "reserved table" and we told them we would get...More
