We were just too late arriving to get the full experience with the wonderful view towards Porquerolles, but the food, wine and service were exemplary, with style and a luxury feel. Nice tables and decor - a bit Parisian

Le Provencal is a gorgeous space in one of the most beautiful place in the south of France. The staff are friendly, helpful and always happy to share a moment. Food is simply to die for... Four different spots, four different types of French cuisine. From a Gastro, down to a Brasserie, Snack and BBQ, you will find what you... More

Damien Piffet keeps the spirit of his family alive with a friendly and smiling staff whose sincere hospitality adds to a unique setting , unrivaled on the Cote except maybe by the Eden Roc on the Cape of Antibes. Don't resist the temptation of the deserts buffet ( from his brother Benjamin) which will lead you directly to dive into... More

Had dinner by myself there. Quite disappointed. The view is amazing and obviously the landscape is THE reason why you will be attracted! Food wise it is just correct nothing at the level you might expect for a Gastronomy place. Seasonings are not properly adjusted, pasta are FoF (Full of Fat) and believe me or not but for 30Euros you... More

Dear Client, we thank you for the time you took in order to share with us your experience in our hotel. Nice Food at a reasonable price. The Service was ok in the first half of the evening, then suddenly it got worse and worse. The young waiter just ignored us and made a lot of basic mistakes which should be sanctioned. All in all it's a good place to eat at a fair price with a magnificent view over the... More

Main restaurant of a bit oldish Hotel La Provencale: its main and, at least during breakfast time, sole scoring point is beautiful view on the sea, Porquerolles Island and forest, provided you manage to snatch one of few tables of the terrasse. Breakfast experience is, least to say, quite basic and only home-made brioche is worth mentioning. Supposedly freshly squeezed... More

Bonjour, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, though we are very sorry to hear you felt disappointed. Our large breakfast buffet has been universally well received so it is very unfortunate that you didn't enjoy it in parfait form. Our juices that you can order "à la carte" are freshly sqeezed by our staff when clients... More

This is the 4th time we stayed at the hotel and on each occasion we have had at least one meal in the hotel restaurant - now rather appropriately called La Rascasse... the rascasse, known as a staple ingredient of a classic bouillabaisse, is a prickly and unattractive fish, and it seems appropriate to name the restaurant after it in... This was our 4th visit to the hotel, I have reviewed it positively a couple of times in the past, and for the accommodation itself my past reviews remain valid, my negative opinion here is based solely on our experience in the hotel’s restaurant, La Rascasse. Some background info, we enjoy eating at restaurants of all types and all levels... More

Arrived at the hotel and was shown through to their Restaurant "La Rascasse" which overlooked the stunning bay of the Presqu'ile de Giens (Hyères), and Porqerolles Island (reknowned as a diving site). The menu was pretty varied, dominated by fish obviously but was sooo disappointing. There were 3 set menus varying from 25 € -55€, however as there was nothing... More

We had just a very pleasant dinner at Le Provencal. The view of the sea was outstanding, the food most enjoyable and very well priced. I actually can't remember the last time I felt I received such good value for money. The service was professional and they went out of their ways to make something up for our daughter. Also,...
