This old trattoria prepare popular dishes keeping the original taste. The tripe was one of the best I ever had. Desserts are also tasty.

Great local cuisine. Farina is excellent, especially if you add a bit of salt and pepper. Lovely home made pasta and great service. Fabulous house wine!

The people are very friendly. the wine is good. However, the food is really just acceptable. For this price it is better to eat elsewhere. The tripe had an acidy taste and gave me heartburn all evening. Try the Il Carialioso Restaurant as it is far better. Avoid this restaurant there are far better ones.

Mine plain, my husband with Gorgonzola .. Beautiful and crispy with a hint of rosemary .. Delicious! My husband also had the ravioli a plin with vino rosso... More

I really enjoy farinata and have to say this is one of the best places for it. Not too soft in the middle, crunchy on the top - perfect. Served best with a little pepper on top and bottle of local wine.

Althought i am italian and i know farinata pretty well that was one of the best ever. I tried ravioli and stockfish and they were delightful too. Almost like I could cook them. Just kidding... they were much better. You have to consider we are in the middle of the piedmont cuisine tradition. Whatever you eat or drink you're tasting... More

We came here for lunch to eat farinata .. the place was full, but the lovely staff told us they would reserve a table for us and told us to come back in 15 mins. When we came back, a table was ready and it was worth it. We both had the farinata .. if you are feeling hungry you... More

It's a nice place, specialized in "farinata", which is the best dish served here along with stoccafisso. Some other local dishes are available, but I think the tastiest is still a portion of hot and crunchy farinata, with some pepper on top ;)

In the city pedestrian precinct a stone’s throw from “Piazza Italia”, Acqui’s main square, and from the famous fountain “la Bollente” (meaning the boiling) you will find our old trattoria. Our small restaurant is deeply rooted in Piedmontese tradition. In fact we offer our guests a three-generation-old characteristic plain cooking, based on old unchanged recipes. Also our Farinata is made according to the old recipe of grandfather Ferruccio and cooked in a typical wood-burning oven. Our dishes are served with selected kinds of typical wine, which compliment our gastronomy in the best way. Trattoria Mazzini is surely the right place where you can taste and savour Acqui traditional cooking.
