Our stomachs led us to this place on a side street in Alba. Very unassuming from the outside but great food and friendly service on the inside. I had rabbit cacciatore which was to die for. One of my friends shared her tagliorini with white truffles - also fantastic. Great local dolcetto d'Alba wine.

We have got a massage at the Turkish place down the street and decided to have dinner at this place. Very good local food and great ambiance. Good wine too. The veal with hazelnuts was amazing!

Two course lunch deal with wine and coffee for 12 Euros. Pasta was tasty and plentiful and the chicken well cooked. Nice spot for outdoor dining - will return if in the area.

We visited Aldente two years ago and much enjoyed the food. This time we found it just as good, with competent waiters and an interesting menu with something that any type of food lover would enjoy. Our company of four chose meat, vegetarian and fish dishes and all were presented beautifully. The vitello tonnato made an especially beautiful plate, as... More

Went there for dinner on a Friday night, place wasn't too busy which was a bit strange. The food was very nice and portions are huge. Paid EUR 60 totally for two people, including starter, main dish, wine, beer, coffee and grappa. What more do you want?

Choose another restaurant, that'all I can say. Unfreandly waiters, awful price/quality ratio of food. Not worth your time and money.

The tratt looks inviting enough, but as the meal progresses, it's obvious that neither the kitchen nor the service staff are trying very hard. Service is peremptory, and the presentation and the taste of the food are mediocre at best. The only memorable thing about the meal was an above-average Barbera d'Asti, which naturally came at an elevated price. If... More

We were a bit nervous about eating here having read some of the very poor reviews on TA. But for us we had a good experience and would certainly go back. We just had a 1 course lunch of nicely made fresh pasta, a glass of Nebbiolo and a coffee. So not much could go wrong really. And Pink Floyd... More
