The seafood is refined, polished and valued. Here you can have a valuable seafood meal, within "something more". The location is romantic, private and relaxed, especially for dinner. Best place for a couple or a confidential meeting. The service is accurate (esplaining the dishes) but not intrusive (discretely letting you to have a private talk).

The food was delicious, but we were disappointed by the service. On a hot summer evening, we were only offered a table inside. The waiter told us that all the tables outside were reserved. Nevertheless, the terrace remained half empty untill we were leaving the restaurant 1,5h later.

Love the view, the sea breeze, the terrace and the indoor seating, the excellent food, lovely decoration - spotted a gorgeous ceramic tureen - and the friendly and professional staff. Chef is a magician and all dishes come out with unique touches.

The waiters acted as if they spoke English (one of our party can speak reasonable Italian), but either they did not or they have problems remembering and understanding or, worse, they deliberately bring the wrong things so that they can overcharge. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes before getting a main dish (long after the other main dish had... More

I visited this restaurant twice, and loved it both times. What a wonderful thing it says about a restaurant where the wait staff and owner/managers remember you after just one visit. We lacked for nothing. The food was outstanding! Can't wait to return!

"Al Sarago"is a fantastic spot in Anzio: wonderful location, terrace right on the sea, romantic atmosphere and unbelievable sea food! Don't miss out on the numerous appetizers (something like 20 different plates) made of Italian sashimi, Italian traditional fried fish, creative versions of well known dishes and wonderful tasty surprises! Main courses are just as good as well! The service... More

We stopped here for lunch last week (July 2014). The location overlooking the sea is lovely. We had the chef's fantasy starter then a mixture of risottos and fresh fish. The fantasy starter was amazing, with a number of little fish dishes, unusual and delicious. The fresh fish to follow (spigola and giant prawns) was really fresh and delicious. I... More

Happened upon whilst passing we were compelled to stop. The food was excellent, fresh fish and sides. The service equally good. A lovely little place which should be sampled.
