This was one of, if not the best Italian restaurants I have EVER been to. The menu is all in Italian and the waiter doing his best to explain to us what things were. We were the only tourists in sight. Perfect! Every bite was perfect. Steak, Pasta, the appetizers, the desserts. Oh my word - it was really amazing.... More

Osteria Tirabaralla serves the best Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere. Good wines are available by the glass, and gluten free pasta and bread was available immediately. We recommend the house salad (mozzarella, tomatoes, lettuces and pesto) for a light but filling lunch.

The place is really compact but with bags of character (the deli and the decor!) located right next to a busy road has a really nice, secluded outside seating space. The lady serving was super nice and she even asked us if we would like to share each of the two dishes we've ordered to try each other's (they have... More

The restaurant or osteria is located 5 minutes walk from the city centre. it is a small and very nice place with a great amount of things and character. The wine list is excellent. We tried the Bistecca alla Fiorentina with some vegetables: very tasty, very well cooked and it has been a truly enjoyable dinner. The service of Massimo... More

The restaurant is also a delicatessen. Small and very local and full of character. Small menu - 4/5 dishes per course - local produce and of the region - great wine list. Food was really good - tasted very fresh and homemade. Service great - owner took time and pride in explaining the dishes where our small amount of Italian... More

During our 14 days in Italy, we ate in a lot of restaurants and Tirabaralla was my favorite. The dishes were interesting and popped with flavor. We kept tasting each others, arguing who made the best selection. The staff made my day by accommodating my "picky eater" by creating a not-on-the-menu dish of buffalo mozzerella, prosciutto and salami.

I originally booked a Sunday evening meal to celebrate our family get together in Italy, and to meet friends living locally (seven people). Despite the language problem I was able to arrange this in advance, which is essential for evening meals, see below. Lele and Sabri did us proud with their tasting menu at 40 euros, (recommended wines extra). It... More

Great atmosphere, fantastic italian food (we left choice to the chef) and really friendly service. We felt in love in combination restaurant-local specialities store, they sales pasta, cheeses, homemade jams, salami, pistachio pesto-which is the best... We definetly return there! Good job Osteria Tirabaralla

We feel privileged to have eaten here. Cosy atmosphere and loads of charm. Above all the food was amazing. None of us are Italian speakers and the menu is hard work, so we left it to our waiter and ended up with a variety sampling selection topped off with a fabulous large steak between the four of us. Local colour,... More

The place is pure theatre...amazing little place full of surprises. Not much English but the waiter moved mountains to ensure we got what we wanted.. Wonderful tastes and epic decor.... Worth a detour for any day of the week.
