We are a family of four with two children we ate 3 seafood spaghetti and 1 mixed seafood, food was good service was prompt. We were offered children's dishes as soon as we arrived which I thought was good although our two had other ideas... We didn't have much time so just had a couple of beers but the wine... More

I've been there with my family on a weekend trip. Food was top quality. Traditional tuscan menu with unusual plates from old tradition. Never had a wild boar so good! Service very friendly. Definitely recommended!

A damp Saturday lunchtime in a village that looked rather quiet didn't look too hopeful for a bite to eat. However up a small ginnel off the main street was a narrow doorway. Intriguing - perhaps. Inside a pleasant welcome and a great view over the to the coast. The pasta was one of the best and the wine ...... More

We came 10 minutes before the restaurant opens and the guy was very annoyed with us even though we were just studying the menu outside. He was just rolling his eyes on us. Shame, the view looked fantastic and I am sure the food is good. Left without trying.

As per subject, this is definitely the BEST restaurant in this area for the TRADITIONAL food. Everything is fresh and hand made and wines are great and with good price.

We were a party of 9 people roving Tuscany with a foodie agenda. Having found Da Ugo in the Slow Food guide, and cross checked with tripadvisor and yelp, we reserved for 7pm (early) and were one of the first ones there. I am pretty sure early reservations are likely to be easy to snag. With reservations in hand, we... More

Don't let a fairly functional room put you off- it may lack some atmosphere, but the view is great and you can sample some well cooked local food. Pasta is of course excellent. Seemingly untouched by tourism, you can enjoy good food and select some great local wines from a comprehensive list. And you are just off the centre of... More

A fabulous restaurant with magnificent views, attentive service, fine wine & the food was divine. We visited twice on our holiday - both times without reservation for a table of five. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a taste of true Tuscany to visit.

We loved this place, not only because one could fritter away the afternoon gazing at the lovely vineyards below and the strunning Mediterranean Sea beyond, but also because the food was classic rustic Tuscan, a genre that is unfortunately disappearing. The woodchuck sauce on the pappardelle was sublime, as was the risotto with squid ink. The sorbetto di limone was... More
