The pistachio cookies are pure bliss, and all the other varieties of cookies are worth more than a nibble. This is a place that prides itself on classic Sicilian cookies yet uses restraint with almond extract which permeates lesser bakers. They sell by weight, and it is easy to fill a bag.

The shop is almost always full of people waiting to buy the sweets sold by these two old ladies. Their sweets are excellent and far better than other I tasted from other Pasticceria down the road. They are also cheaper, but you need to have some patience to wait a bit in the queue since many people go there. I... More

This is a small shop run by an old lady where you can taste amazing local sweets. Try the Genovesi (local pastries) but make sure they are served warm, they are delicious. Another sweet spot are the almond pastries, amazingly good!

Nice looking old ladies sold me not fresh pastries and cheated on the price. I asked one piece of different pastries to try. They are supposed to be sold by weight. Instead she calculated almost 1 eur per piece instead of weighting them. I left the shop and tasted a bit of every of them to realise that they are... More

This a very simple shop, in a very quite corner of the street and can easily be missed. Specially, with the street along the main piaza bustling with pastry shops. But this is the place to go. Another way to look for them is, just ask anyone around the town for the pastry shop with old nonna's, they're 2 sisters... More

You MUST try the white cream pastries. They are absolutely amazing. I wish I could have eaten many more of them! Best dish in Erice.

This place seems to come out of a fairy tail. Cheap and amazing sweets baked daily, old women serving you kindly. You simply need to try it.

The sweets I had here tastes like homemade. I had the genovese biscuits and were delicious. I went back for another round before leaving Erice. Also I tried the honey biscuit which was very good too. I recommend this place!

This unassuming bakery offers the best Genovesi with Ricotta in town. As you walk into the small shop, you walk into the past, in a truly authentic bakery that hasn't changed a bit at least in the last 30 years.
